BRAD KORBESMEYER

Playwright, Screenwriter, Voice Artist

Brad Korbesmeyer is an award-winning playwright and screenwriter with a wide-range of current projects under development.  His play, Incident at San Bajo, received the Heideman Award from Actors Theatre of Louisville and has had over 80 productions in the U.S. and Canada.  His works have received productions at regional theaters across the country, been optioned for television, and adapted into an opera. 


Latest projects:

  • Twain's Last Chapter.  A four-character, one set, full-length historical play about Mark Twain's last days.  Includes excerpts from Twain's writings and those of his three daughters.  This play received a staged reading at the Mark Twain House and Museum in Hartford, CT in honor of the "sage of Missouri's" birthday.

  • Get/Away.  Three female actors, one set, full-length comedy dealing with the pressures of maintaining any semblance of an honest, moral compass in today's society, particularly on a college campus.                                                      

  • Voice work as Nikola Tesla for upcoming Somewhere in the Skies podcast.  Other past credits:  Falstaff/Richard II, Kill Shakespeare; Mark Rothko, Red.
